Semi-Annual Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance
Commercial kitchen fire suppression systems require inspection and service every six months. We perform semi-annual inspections, testing, and maintenance per NFPA 17A and NFPA 96, including system testing, tagging, and documentation accepted by local fire authorities.
System Repairs
We diagnose and repair kitchen fire suppression systems to restore proper operation and code compliance. Repairs are performed using approved components and follow manufacturer guidelines, UL listings, and applicable NFPA standards.
System Upgrades to Accommodate Appliances
When cooking appliances are added, moved, or replaced, suppression systems must be updated to maintain coverage. We upgrade existing UL 300 systems to properly protect new or reconfigured appliances in compliance with NFPA 96 and California fire code requirements.
System Tank Hydro-Testing
Suppression system tanks require periodic hydrostatic testing to verify cylinder integrity. We coordinate and perform system tank hydro-testing in accordance with DOT, NFPA 17A, and manufacturer requirements before returning systems to service.

Restaurant Fire Suppression Systems
UL listed as a complete system consisting of wet chemical fire extinguishing agent, agent tank, agent discharge nozzles, releasing device, fuse link detection, manual pull station, and gas/electric shutoff device. They are designed to discharge a predetermined quantity of fire extinguishing agent in accordance with UL test criteria and listing. These systems are recognized by NFPA 17A- Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems.
Wet chemical (Class K)
Portable fire extinguishers contain a potassium acetate based extinguishing agent and are specifically designed for commercial kitchen fire hazards involving cooking oils and fats.
